LAUNCH OF THE “LOVE TO LOVE” CAMPAIGN
In recent days, Typhoon Yagi and its remnants have caused severe damage to the people in the northern provinces of Vietnam. Severe flooding, flash floods, and landslides in highland provinces such as Lào Cai, Yên Bái, Sơn La, Tuyên Quang, Cao Bằng, etc., have inflicted heavy losses on the affected communities.
In the spirit of mutual love and to share the pain and damage with people, the Vietnam-Australia Scholars and Experts Association (VASEA), in collaboration with the Australasia Social Impact Foundation (ASIF Foundation) – the international charity of Vietnamese people, Launching the donation campaign “Love to Love” to support people in their recovery journey after the storm and flood. - ASIF Foundation will provide matching donation, $1 for every $1 donated in this campaign, up to $50,000.
- Receipt will be provided for all donations for income tax-deduction according to regulations from the Australian Tax Office.
- All donated funds from you and matching fund from ASIF will be sent directly to the Vietnam Heart Fund in support of flood victims, managed by the Vietnam Television Network – VTV, and will be reported to the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in Vietnam for oversight and monitoring.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, is immensely meaningful and will help people restore their lives and mitigate the impact of the disaster.
