On 11 November 2025, at the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney, Professor Long Nghiem (VASEA President) and Ms. Ha Nguyen (Executive Board Member of ASIF – Australasia Social Impact Foundation) officially presented a symbolic donation of AUD 74,065.68 to support Vietnamese communities affected by recent floods. The ceremony was also attended by
✅ H.E. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Consul General of Vietnam in Sydney, and
✅ H.E. Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski, former Australian Ambassador to Vietnam (2022–2024) and member of VASEA Advisory Board.
The entire donation amount, equivalent to over VND 1.25 billion, was transferred by ASIF to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on 12 November 2025. VASEA also settled the transaction fees with SupporterHub, the fundraising platform used for the “Love-to-Love” 2025 Campaign.
