The “Love-to-Love” fundraising campaign – a collaboration between VASEA and the ASIF Foundation to support and assist communities in recovering from the devastation of Typhoon No. 3 Yagi – has officially concluded with immense care, love, and support from the community.
– Between September 13 and September 23, the campaign raised AUD 22,215.78 through the GiveNow platform. As committed, the ASIF Foundation matched this amount, bringing the total donation to AUD 44,431.56. This sum, equivalent to VND 736,230,949, was directly transferred to the “Tấm Lòng Việt” Fund under Vietnam Television (VTV) to aid communities in their recovery after the disaster.
– We sincerely thank all the donors, VASEA members, and the Vietnamese community in Australia and other countries for joining hands in this meaningful campaign.
– A special thanks to the ASIF Foundation for partnering with us in this fundraising effort. The ASIF’s swift completion of legal procedures ensured that the entire community donation and matching contribution were fully and promptly transferred to the “Tấm Lòng Việt” Fund, showcasing the professionalism and efficiency of the ASIF Foundation.
VASEA – ASIF – Australasia Social Impact Foundation Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Collaboration Agreement
We wish to take this opportunity to announce that on September 17, 2024, ASIF Foundation and VASEA officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking the beginning of a collaboration in joint activities. The first project the two organisations are discussing and collaborate focuses on clean water solutions for the Mekong Delta region.
With complementary strengths and compatible visions, values, and intellect, we believe that the partnership between ASIF and VASEA will drive sustainable development projects, bringing profound social values to both Australia and Vietnam.
