On 11 August 2026 in Canberra, representatives of the Vietnamese Australian Scholars and Experts Association (VASEA) were honoured to attend the inauguration of Vietnam House and a gathering between General Secretary and State President H.E To Lam and the Vietnamese communities in Australia and Solomon Islands.

The event marked a significant milestone, with Vietnam House serving as a shared home for the Vietnamese community and a place to preserve and promote Vietnamese culture, language and connection to the homeland. VASEA greatly appreciates the General Secretary and State President’s message encouraging Vietnamese scholars, experts and business leaders in Australia to continue connecting international knowledge, technology and resources, contributing meaningfully to Vietnam’s development and the Australia–Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
