The delegation included leaders of Departments under the Ministry of Education and Training, representatives of the Government Office, Vietnamese Education Counsellors in Australia and a number of university leaders in Vietnam.
During the meeting, Ms. Jane Tran provided updates of international education activities to the delegation and of supports for Vietnamese students. Particularly, she introduced a new and advanced training partnership model in bringing contemporary technologies into training and teaching.
Additionally, Ms. Jane Tran continued to provide updates of some specific educational information of each State in Australia and especially the proposal to merge two major universities in South Australia to establish the largest university in Australia.
She also shared the foundation of Vietnamese Australian Scholars and Experts Association to act as a bridge to provide information, solutions and technology transfer in the fields of science and technology, international education and training and trade and investment policies for public sector and private sector entrepreneurs.
The delegation enthusiastically shared the VASEA’s ideas to establish a cooperative tie between VASEA and Ministry of Education and Training in connecting Australian universities and sending Australian experts to Vietnamese Universities for seminars and conference of their expertise.
VASEA truly hopes to continue welcoming Vietnamese delegations of Ministry of Education and Training to visit and exchange knowledge, skills and experiences in the sector of Education, Training and International Relations in the near future.
