On 13 April 2024, Associate Professor Lien Duong – VASEA Vice President of ESG and Sustainability was invited by the Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) to speak at the Australian Alumni Climate Change Symposium 2024. The event also had the presence of Ms. Kristin Tilley, Ambassador for Climate Change from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In her presentation, Associate Professor Lien Duong shared insights into the upcoming mandatory climate-related reporting in Australia. She also emphasised the gaps in the development of Vietnam carbon market and underscored the importance of advancing sustainability and ESG standards.
